Garden maintenance and booking FAQs
Booking and scheduling
How do I book a one-off visit?
Enter your postcode, choose a date, time and duration, and tell us what you'd like us to focus on. The whole thing takes under two minutes and nothing is charged until after the visit.
What visit lengths can I book?
Most people book one or two hours, depending on garden size and condition. Half days and full days are there for gardens that need more, and longer jobs can be arranged.
Can I reschedule?
Yes, with reasonable notice. Get in touch as soon as you know and we'll move you to another slot.
What if I need to cancel?
Contact us in advance and we'll sort it. Cancellation terms are explained clearly at the time of booking.
During the visit
What does one-off maintenance include?
Lawn mowing, weeding, hedge and shrub trimming, pruning, leaf blowing and general tidying. Heavier work such as tree removal or excavation isn't included, but we can quote for it separately.
Can I tell you what to focus on?
Yes, and it helps if you do. Tell us your priorities when booking and we'll work through them in that order within the time you've booked.
What if it can't all be done in one visit?
We work through your priorities first, so the things that matter most get done. If more time is needed we'll tell you honestly and suggest a follow-up visit or a regular round.
Do you bring your own tools?
Yes. The team arrives fully equipped with professional gear for general maintenance work. You don't need to provide anything.
Waste and clean-up
Is green waste removal included?
Yes, a green waste box is included with every visit. If the job produces more and you'd like it gone, extra jumbo bags are £30 each.
Can I keep the waste instead?
Yes. If you'd rather keep it on site or put it in your own garden waste bin, just tell us at the start of the visit.
Where does the waste go?
Everything we take goes to one of our recycling partners, where it's processed into compost. We avoid landfill wherever we can.
Access and practicalities
Do I need to be home?
Not necessarily. As long as we have clear access and your instructions, you don't need to be there.
What should I do before the team arrives?
Make sure the garden is accessible and let us know about any parking restrictions or if we need to come through the house.
